Abstract Submission Guidelines

The First International Symposium on Ophthalmic History (2015) will be held from April 4th to 6th, 2015 at Wenfeng Hotel, Nantong, China. The theme of the symposium is “Ophthalmic history promotes the development of ophthalmology.” The aim of the symposium is to provide an ophthalmic history research platform for researchers, clinicians and academicians from all over the world to exchange their views and knowledge in ophthalmological history. Themes of the symposium include but not limit Eye Care in Ancient China, Historical Exchange between Western Countries and China in Ophthalmic Science, Historical Progress of Instruments in Cataract Surgery, Introduction of Modern Ophthalmic Techniques in the Qin Dynasty, Eminent Ophthalmologists in History, and Ancient Literature in Eye Care. The symposium will be organized by the Chinese Museum of Ophthalmology and is sponsored by the Chinese Ophthalmological Society. We invite warmly all those interested in the history of ophthalmic and vision science to attend at this event. Participants may submit abstracts for a paper presentation or a poster session.

SUBMISSIONS OF ABSTRACTS NOW OPEN
1.  Email address to receive sumissions: ghweye@163.com.
2. Abstract title should be concise. Avoid using abbreviations in the title.
3. Abstract Content should include  authors, highest degrees of the authors and institutions, purpose, methods, results and conclusions. The abstract should   not exceed 250 words and not include graphs, tables, images and references.
4. Deadline for submitting abstracts and posters is March 15, 2015.
